Cranston, R.I. – April 2024 – When administration and department leaders at University of Bridgeport (UB) engaged students to better understand their needs and ways to improve their college journeys, the students expressed their desire for diverse food options. With input from students, UB’s Dining Services leadership offers more culturally diverse meals, even going so far as to collect recipes from students. In many homes, the kitchen is always the gathering place and now international and domestic students will have just such a kitchen to gather in as the University is building a fully operational kitchen facility in Barnum Hall. Not only is EAG proud to support UB’s International Recruitment efforts, but we are also pleased to pledge $50,000 toward this strategic initiative.
