As an international recruiter for William Paterson University, Ms. Rojika Pokharel is responsible for connecting with and providing support to international students throughout the admission funnel from inquiry to enrollment. Ms. Pokharel has more than eight years’ professional experience conducting mentorship programs for underserved girls, where she provided tailored mentoring guidance to enhance their skills. She also fostered collaborations with schools, families, and local organizations to expand outreach and ensure alignment with the organization’s mission of empowering through education.
Ms. Pokharel will be managing recruitment for students in Nepal and will be focusing on creating connections with educational institutions and agencies while increasing visibility for William Paterson University. Ms. Pokharel holds a B.A. degree in Social Work from Premier International College in Kathmandu and is pursuing a, M.S. in Psychology at Tribhuvan University.
