As the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment-Nepal for University of Bridgeport (UB), Swechhya is responsible for promoting UB’s undergraduate programs in the Nepal market through school and agency visits, fairs, and other secondary-level activities. Swechhya will assist students through the application and enrollment stages and build relationships with agencies in an effort to support UB’s undergraduate enrollment goals.
Swechhya is an international education and development professional with over eight years of experience working across the U.S., Europe, and South Asia. Her work has spanned global organizations such as UNESCO, Fulbright Nepal, the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation and others, where she led initiatives in international outreach, program management, and policy advocacy. With a strong academic foundation in International Political Economy and Development from the University of Bridgeport, she is deeply committed to fostering inclusive education, cross-cultural collaboration, and global engagement in higher education.
